1. Long service life

Thanks to the relatively hard rubber which is used to make the tread, the radial truck tyre has advantages of large rigidity, small circumferential deformation and thus great abrasive resistance. Moreover, because of large ground contact area of the tyre, small pressure imposed by the ground, even load distribution, and small sliding amount of movement on the road surface, the actual service life of the tyre is about 50% longer than that of the diagonal tyre.

2. Small rolling resistance and fuel saving
Due to the few cord fabric layers of the radial truck tyre and small friction between the layers, its rolling resistance is 25% to 30% smaller than that of the diagonal tyre, which can not only help improve power performance of vehicles, but make fuels more economical. In actual use, the fuel saving rate can reach 6% to 8%, and with the increase of speed, the fuel saving effect is better.

3. High carrying capacity
The cord threads of the radial truck tyre are arranged radially, therefore, the intensity of cord can be made full use of, enabling its carrying capacity is about 14% better than that of the diagonal tyre.

4. Great adhesion property
The factors including great elasticity and large ground contact area of the carcass and little slipping distance and great adhesion property of tread help improve power performance of vehicles.

5. Great vibration damping performance

The carcass of the radial truck tyre, which is softer than that of diagonal tyre, has good elasticity and cushioning performance, can improve the stability and comfort in the car driving, and extend the service life of the car parts.

6. Low tyre temperature and quick heat dissipation

Because the radial truck tyre has few cord fabric layers, and there is no shearing action between the cord fabric layers, when compared to the diagonal tyre, it has a smaller friction, quicker heat dissipation, and narrower range of temperature rise, all of which help improve speed.

7. It's not easy to puncture the tread and have a flat tyre.

The stable layer of the radial truck tyre is so strong that accidents (for example, tyre is punctured by nails) can be roughly halved. Because the intensity of cord can be fully utilized, the tyre is less likely to burst even under harsh service conditions.
